Like many GM owners, we became frustrated with the everyday characteristics of AFM and DFM cylinder-deactivation systems—including frequent cylinder switching, hesitation, exhaust drone, shudder, and uncertainty about long-term engine reliability.

We believed drivers deserved a simpler and more practical option.

That belief became BlueV8.

Built Specifically for GM Vehicles

BlueV8 products are developed specifically for compatible GM trucks and SUVs. Rather than trying to build a generic device for every vehicle platform, we focus on a clearly defined range of GM applications.

Our AFM/DFM Disabler is designed to help keep compatible vehicles operating in full-cylinder mode while the device is connected. It does not permanently reprogram the ECM, and the vehicle returns to factory operation after the device is removed.
