Installation Overview

1. Mark the mounting holes and secure the back panel to a suitable ceiling/wall surface.
2. Attach the retractor to the mounting panel and tighten the fixing screw.
3. Select the rubber sleeve that matches your charging cable diameter.
4. Close the clamp around the sleeved cable and tighten the screws.
5. Test the extension, auto-lock, and retraction before daily use.

FAQ

What’s the difference between Compact and Premium?

Compact and Premium use the same retracting core and auto-lock mechanism. Compact is smaller and lighter. Premium has a larger housing for a cleaner finished look.

Will it pull on my charging port?

When installed correctly, the retractor supports the cable, not the charging port. Clamp the cable several feet away from the connector and leave a small slack loop near the vehicle.

Does it fit Tesla / NACS cables?

It fits most home EV charging cables within the listed outside diameter range. Measure your cable before ordering.

Wall mount or ceiling mount?

Choose Wall/Side Mount for most garages. Choose Ceiling Mount if you want the cable to drop from overhead.

Is the EV charger included?

No. This product is a cable retractor only. EV charger and charging cable are not included.

Can I install it into drywall?

No. Install into a stud, ceiling joist, or solid concrete only.
